Zero Down Payment Home Loans
There are only two grant programs available to purchase a home with a zero down payment:
1) Veterans or VA Loans
Military veterans may be able to qualify for affordable, below market interest rates in obtaining mortgage financing through the VA program. Qualified veterans are those who served on active duty and applied for financing within 25 years after the date of which the veteran left service.

2) USDA or Rural Loans
For a USDA loan there are restrictions to where you can live.

If you don’t wish to buy in a rural area or aren’t a veteran, then please read the following information.
FHA Home Loans & Lending Programs
An FHA loan is a mortgage insured by the Federal Housing Administration, a government agency within the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The FHA loan offers energy efficient mortgages, loans for manufactured or mobile homes, 203k rehabilitation loans and several other programs.
In the housing market turndown, FHA home loans have become one of the most popular options. Borrowers with FHA home loans pay for mortgage insurance which protects the lender from a loss should the borrower default on the loan. Because of that insurance, mortgage lenders can offer attractive interest rates. Click to read much more information on FHA loans here
